What happens when you mix basketball, chismis and local pride? You get the Chismis Basketball League.

The Molten Marites do not have a slow build. They are either quiet or they are erupting, with nothing in between and no warning either way. Opponents describe playing them as fine, fine, fine, and then suddenly not fine at all. Their bench has been known to sit through three quarters saying nothing and then say everything.

Mayon is right there, perfectly shaped and entirely capable, and Legazpi has spent generations living calmly at the foot of something that could go off.

Also from Legazpi: Legazpi - Home of the Mayon Volcano and My Heart is Still in Legazpi.
