What happens when you mix basketball, chismis and local pride? You get the Chismis Basketball League.

The Diary Queens write it all down. Every game, every call, every conversation in the corridor afterwards, recorded in a hand nobody else can read and retrieved with alarming speed. They do not argue about what was said. They open the book.

Rizal spent four years exiled in Dapitan and used them to write, teach, build a water system and keep notes. The town took the lesson.
